JDU state executive committee approves key decisions on civic polls, protests & membership drive

Ranchi, Jan 10 (UNI) The State Executive Committee of Jharkhand Pradesh Janata Dal (United) approved a series of key decisions, including contesting urban local body elections with full strength, holding one-day protests at district and block levels against alleged corruption and hikes in holding and water taxes, and constituting a state-level cell for municipal elections.
The one-day meeting, held at the JDU state headquarters, was chaired by State President and MP Khiru Mahato.
The executive committee also approved the appointment of in-charges for a state-level membership drive.
