KKR begins training camp at Eden Gardens with pooja ceremony

Kolkata, Mar 12 (UNI) Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) commenced their pre-tournament camp at the iconic Eden Gardens on Wednesday with a pooja ceremony, marking the beginning of preparations for the upcoming TATA IPL 2025 season.
KKR captain Ajinkya Rahane and pitch curator Sujan Mukherjee performed the rituals, seeking divine blessings for a successful campaign.
Head coach Chandrakant Pandit, along with the coaching staff and players, attended the ceremony. Speaking on the occasion, Pandit highlighted that the training sessions have been meticulously planned, although some international players are yet to join the squad due to their commitments in the ongoing Champions Trophy. Expressing excitement about returning to Eden Gardens after a triumphant last season, he stated that the team remains highly motivated to maintain their winning momentum.
