Telangana Information Technology Minister D Sridhar Babu, who inaugurated the GIT Center, acknowledged Medtronic as the largest medtech company in the world and congratulated the company on its 75th anniversary this year on behalf of the Telangana Government.

Sridhar Babu said that Medtronic's presence in Hyderabad, alongside its presence in the United States, showcases Hyderabad as a hub with vast potential for the tech industry, which has a synergistic relationship with life sciences and pharmaceuticals.

He noted that the region's substantial human resource pool will continue to attract more companies, following Medtronic’s lead, to set up operations in the city.
