Telangana Information Technology Minister D Sridhar Babu, who inaugurated the GIT Center, acknowledged Medtronic as the largest medtech company in the world and congratulated the company on its 75th anniversary this year on behalf of the Telangana Government.

She highlighted that the center, starting with 60 employees and aiming to grow to 300 over the next three to five years with an investment of USD 60 million, demonstrates the company’s trust in the local talent and support from the Minister, the US Consul General, and MEIC leadership.

The center will focus on cutting-edge technologies such as Cloud Engineering, Data Platforms, Digital Health applications, Hyper automation, and AI/ML. The talent competencies include Cloud & DevOps, Advanced Analytics & Visualization, Integration & Middleware, Full Stack Engineering, Robotic Process Automation, Process & Data Mining, Agile Program Management, Process Excellence & Business Analysis, along with IT Security & Compliance.
