Netanyahu's Gov't unanimously rejects UNGA decision on Palestine's status at UN

Tel Aviv, May 15 (UNI) The government of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has unanimously rejected the decision by the UN General Assembly to expand the rights of Palestine and its status at the organisation, the prime minister's office said on Wednesday.
Last week, the UN General Assembly adopted a resolution expanding the rights of Palestine in the world organisation and recommending that the Security Council favorably reconsider its request for membership.
"The government unanimously approved Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s proposal to reject the adopted UN General Assembly resolution of May 10, 2024," the office said in a statement.
