NSE’s leadership in derivatives reinforced as market share momentum stays strong

Mumbai May 6 (UNI) The National Stock Exchange of India (NSE) has reaffirmed its leadership in the equity derivatives segment.
NSE’s leadership performance is evaluated on premium turnover, the industry-standard metric that reflects actual economic activity.
The exchange demonstrated a clear upward trajectory in the first quarter of 2026. Its index options market share rose steadily from 66.7% in January to 72.1% in March—an increase of 540 basis points which underscores the strong underlying growth momentum.

Mah: Newly elected MLCs take oath
