Shahid Kapoor’s fierce look dominates teaser of ‘O’Romeo’

New Delhi, Jan 10 (UNI) The much-anticipated teaser of Vishal Bhardwaj and Shahid Kapoor’s upcoming film ‘O’Romeo’ has been released, offering a glimpse into the dark and gritty tale of Romeo.
The makers dropped the one-minute-35-second teaser on Saturday, introducing key characters played by Shahid Kapoor, Triptii Dimri, Disha Patani, Vikrant Massey, Tamannaah Bhatia, Farida Jalal, and Nana Patekar.
The teaser opens with Shahid as a rugged, ferocious Romeo, ready to take on a fight. Sporting a raw, unpolished look and a brutal demeanor, his character seems shaped by violence, carrying anger just beneath the surface.
Packed with high-octane fight sequences, the teaser underscores the film’s intense narrative. Glimpses of Triptii Dimri, Disha Patani, Vikrant Massey, Tamannaah Bhatia, Farida Jalal, and Nana Patekar promise to add depth and intrigue to the story, while Avinash Tiwary also makes a striking appearance.
Other cast members include Aruna Irani, Hussain Dalal, Resh Lamba, and Rahul Deshpande.
The teaser release comes just a day after the film’s first poster was unveiled. The poster shows Shahid in a brutally intense avatar, sporting a wild, maniacal grin smeared with blood and cuts.
His tattooed arms, open-neck shirt, chains, and heavy belt create a raw and menacing presence. The red backdrop and aggressive stance amplify his mysterious and rebellious aura. Shahid shared the poster on Instagram, writing, “Romeo O Romeo where art thou O’ROMEO!”
‘O’Romeo’ marks the fourth collaboration between Vishal Bhardwaj and Shahid Kapoor, following acclaimed films like Kaminey, Haider, and Rangoon.
Presented by Sajid Nadiadwala and produced under Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment, the film is set to release in theatres during Valentine’s Week on Feb 13.
