Swayambhu shot in untouched forests regions: Director Bharat Krishnamachari

Mumbai, May 9 (UNI) Director Bharat Krishnamachari has revealed that the live-action portions of the upcoming film "Swayambhu" were shot extensively in remote terrains and untouched forest locations.
Speaking about this, Krishnamachari said, "For the live-action portions, we chose the forests of Maredumilli, near Rajahmundry in Andhra Pradesh. This is the same area where the forest sequences of Pushpa were shot. However, we specifically chose untouched locations where shooting had never taken place before."
The 48-year-old director said, "Reaching these locations was an adventure in itself. We had to travel by jeep for about 2 to 2.5 hours to reach the top of the mountains. During one such schedule, it suddenly started raining and a part of our team was stranded on the mountain for about a day or two without the necessary equipment."
He added, "Interestingly, our team was one of the first teams to get permission to shoot at that beautiful and untouched location."
Swayambhu is produced by Bhuvan and Srikar under the banner of Pixel Studios. The cast includes Nikhil Siddhartha, Nabha Natesh, and Samyuktha Menon in the lead roles, supported by Sunil, Subbaraju, Satya and several others in key supporting parts. The music is composed by Ravi Basrur, while KK Senthil Kumar handles the cinematography, and Tammiraju serves as the editor.
Billed as a grand presentation celebrating India's rich history and eternal glory, the film is scheduled for a worldwide release in Summer 2026. UNI NST SS
