Telangana: MeeTicket Crosses 2 Lakh downloads in First Year; TGRTC Bus Passes to be added soon

Hyderabad, Jan 9 (UNI) MeeTicket, Telangana’s unified digital ticketing platform for public services, has recorded around two lakh downloads, facilitated transactions worth nearly ₹2.5 crore and issued more than 3.5 lakh tickets within its first year of launch, the State government said on Thursday.
Launched under the leadership of Minister for Information Technology D. Sridhar Babu, MeeTicket has emerged as a flagship digital mobility initiative, offering citizens mobile-first access to a wide range of public amenities.
The application is currently live across 221 public locations in Telangana, providing ticketing services for Hyderabad Metro Rail, urban and forest parks, temples, museums, forts and monuments, boating centres, waterfalls, nature camps and community facilities.
The government said the platform would soon be expanded to include services of the Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TGRTC), allowing commuters to book QR-based digital bus passes and inter-city bus tickets through the app.
Proposed pass categories include Ordinary, Metro Deluxe, Metro Express, Green Metro Luxury (AC) and Pushpak AC, aimed at daily city and suburban commuters.
Officials said the steady adoption of the platform across the State reflects a growing preference for integrated, digital access to public services.
As of January 2026, MeeTicket covers 123 parks, 50 boating centres, 16 temples, six museums, four forts and monuments, four waterfalls, 11 GHMC parks, five nature camps, one public function hall and Hyderabad Metro Rail integration, enabling access to diverse urban, ecological, cultural and religious destinations through a single application.
