Telangana: WE Hub signs MoUs with 20 Colleges to Launch ‘Campus to Career’ Program for Women Students

Hyderabad, Feb 4 (UNI) In a major initiative aimed at strengthening employability and industry readiness among women students, WE Hub, India’s first state-led nodal organisation for women entrepreneurs, signed Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) with over 20 academic institutions across Telangana on Wednesday to roll out its Campus to Career programme.
The initiative will be implemented through WE enable, WE Hub’s flagship student-focused intervention, and is designed to bridge the gap between higher education and workforce requirements..
The programme focuses on integrating industry exposure, mentorship, skill-based learning, and career guidance directly into campus ecosystems, ensuring students graduate with both academic credentials and career readiness.
The MoUs were signed here with a diverse set of institutions, including engineering colleges, universities, professional institutes, and women’s colleges from Hyderabad and Rangareddy districts.
Among them are Methodist College of Engineering and Technology, RBVRR Women’s College of Pharmacy, Veeranari Chakali Illamma Women’s University, Vidya Jyothi Institute of Technology, Muffakham Jah College of Engineering and Technology, St. Joseph’s Degree & PG College for Women (Toli Chowki), Koneru Lakshmaiah Education Foundation–Hyderabad, St. Francis College for Women, G. Narayanamma Institute of Technology and Sciences, Stanley College of Engineering and Technology for Women, Woxsen University – School of Arts & Design, and Government Degree College for Women, Begumpet, among others.
The Campus to Career programme aligns with the government’s broader focus on strengthening higher education outcomes, skilling youth for future industries, and building a resilient, future-ready workforce.
Through these partnerships, WE Hub aims to create sustained, institution-led pathways that connect classrooms to careers.
Speaking on the occasion, WE Hub CEO Ms Sita Pallacholla, noted that WE Enable operates at the intersection of education and employability, equipping young women with skills, exposure, and confidence to actively participate in and lead the state’s future workforce.
