UBT Marathwada Secy Ashok Patwardhan joins Shinde Sena

Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Jan 10 (UNI) Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray (UBT) has received another jolt here on Friday when its Marathwada region secretary, Ashok Patwardhan, joined Shinde Sena in the presence of Social Justice Minister Sanjay Shirsat, District Chief Rajendra Janjal, and Nandkumar Ghodele.
It may be noted that in the last week, former mayors of Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Nandkumar Ghodele and his wife, Anitha Ghodele, and brother Anand Ghodeke were joined by Shinde Sena, and now there has been a stir with the entry of the party's Marathwada secretary, Patwardhan, who is considered close to UBT chief Uddhav Thackeray.
The party leaders felt that some former corporators and office bearers were ready to join Shinde Sena. Since then, Shiv Sena leader and former MP Chandrakant Khaire and Leader of Opposition in Legislative Council Ambadas Danve held meetings with office bearers and former corporators.
