Walkaroo sets Rs 5,000 crore turnover target by 2030

Bengaluru, Jan 25 (UNI) Walkaroo, a prominent Indian footwear brand, has announced an ambitious target of achieving a turnover of ₹5,000 crore by 2030, according to the company’s Managing Director, Noushad.
Speaking to reporters on Saturday, Noushad emphasised Walkaroo’s strong presence in India and its growing international footprint.
"Walkaroo holds a 6-7 percent market share in India and is active in key states including Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat, and Haryana," he said.
"We have a network of over 12,000 retailer, supported by 50 distributors across the country," Noushad added.
Founded in 2012, Walkaroo has witnessed rapid growth, operates 15 manufacturing units across India, including three in Karnataka – one in Dabaspet near Bengaluru and two in Mysuru district. "We are also setting up a manufacturing facility in Tanzania to further expand our global footprint," the Company MD added.
Walkaroo exports to markets including the Gulf nations, Africa, Singapore, Malaysia, and Myanmar, reflecting its commitment to international growth.
Highlighting the brand’s marketing efforts, Noushad noted, "Our first brand ambassador was cricketer Rohit Sharma, followed by actors Aamir Khan and Ajay Devgn. Currently, Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan represents the brand."
Earlier, Walkaroo showcased over 1,000 footwear models at the Trade Show 2025 in the city to strengthen its position as a leading global footwear brand. "These designs cater to diverse customer lifestyles and preferences across Karnataka," he said.
Walkaroo has tailored its offerings to Karnataka's market by introducing the Urbanoz Range with ergonomic footbeds for comfort and style, the lightweight and trendy Flip-Flopz for younger customers, and the Sportz range featuring advanced technology for active lifestyles.
The brand also launched its "Know Your Foot" initiative, aimed at understanding foot dynamics through foot scanning technology. This initiative will enable the development of footwear tailored to support proper biomechanics.
"We aim to become Karnataka’s most preferred brand by addressing not just functional needs but also the fashion aspirations of our customers, all while ensuring comfort. Through our ‘Know Your Foot’ initiative, we are committed to creating footwear solutions that support proper biomechanics because the foot is the foundation of the body," the company MD said.
