Yo Yo Honey Singh reassures fans: 'We are safe in Dubai guys, working'

New Delhi, March 3 (UNI) As tensions escalate across West Asia following recent hostilities involving Iran, Israel and the United States, rapper Yo Yo Honey Singh has stepped forward to calm his worried fans.

The singer shared a video from a recording studio in Dubai, confirming that he is safe and continuing with his professional commitments despite the volatile regional situation.

Posting on Instagram, Singh wrote, "We are safe in Dubai, guys. Working." The brief yet reassuring message came amid growing concern over developments in the region.

Several other Indian celebrities are currently in Dubai as tensions intensify. Actors Sonal Chauhan and Esha Gupta, along with family members of singer Ammy Virk, are reported to be in the emirate.

In their recent social media updates, they expressed gratitude to local authorities for ensuring their safety and maintaining calm amid the evolving situation.

The latest escalation follows a dramatic series of events in the region. Lebanon’s Hezbollah group claimed responsibility for launching rockets and drones towards Israel, describing the move as retaliation for the reported killing of Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei in joint Israeli-US strikes.

Meanwhile, the United Arab Emirates has urged restraint. Senior diplomatic advisor Anwar Gargash, representing President Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, called on Iran to act with responsibility and engage constructively with neighbouring nations, warning against further isolation and escalation.

UAE officials also said that air defence systems intercepted Iranian missiles and drones over its territory, though debris reportedly caused minor injuries to two individuals in Dubai.

This is not the first time Singh has addressed safety concerns while travelling abroad. In February, the rapper had updated fans from Mexico amid reports of cartel violence. At the time, he wrote, "Thank you, guys for all your concern! M safe in mexico just flying back home... har har mahadev," reassuring followers before returning to India.

As the situation in the West Asia remains fluid, Singh’s latest update appears aimed at calming speculation and assuring fans that he remains safe while continuing his work in Dubai.
