3 Filipinos die in UAE record-breaking rainfall

Manila, Apr 19 (UNI) Three Filipinos working in Dubai have died in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) record-breaking rainfall this week, the Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) said on Thursday night.
In a statement, DMW Officer-in-Charge Hans Cacdac said two women died of suffocation after they were trapped inside their car, while a man died after his vehicle hit a sinkhole.
Cacdac said its offices in Dubai and Abu Dhabi are working closely with the Philippine Embassy and Consulate General to coordinate with Filipino communities and assist overseas Filipino workers.
