Ambala Cantt railway station being renovated

Ambala, Jan 12 (UNI) Ambala Cantt railway station is being renovated and modernized.
The toilets of old age are being replaced with modern facilities at the estimated cost of Rs 45 lakh. Separate blocks for women, men, children and physically handicapped are being constructed by providing every facility to each category of passengers.
According to Station Director BS Gill the work had been allotted to a company of national repute which would complete the project according to terms and conditions laid by the Railways and would work on modern lines. He said that the work was being undertaken on the platform number would be modernized at par with the platform number 1. Gill said that whereas the Railways were working on the project to make Ambala Cantt station a World Class Station where facilities were being provided to the children, physically handicapped and the women.
