Arunachal announces one week 'lockdown' in Itanagar Capital Complex

Itanagar, Jul 4 (UNI) In the wake of increasing COVID-19 positive cases in Itanagar Capital Complex, the Arunachal Pradesh government on Saturday announced 'lockdown' for one week starting from 0500 hours of July 6.
Addressing a press conference here, Chief Secretary Naresh Kumar said, "From 0500 hours of 6th July (Monday) till 1700 hours of 12 th July ( Sunday) there will be lockdown in Itanagar Capital Complex."
He informed that Chief Minister Pema Khandu , Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein and Council of Ministers have observed that in the last one week COVID-19 positive cases have increased in Capital Complex , and took decision of lockdown.
