Big wins for IAF and CISF in Gurmit Hockey

Chandigarh, Oct 23 (UNI) Indian Air Force and Central Industrial Security Force recorded victories in the preliminary round matches of the 46th S N Vohra’s All India Gurmit Memorial Hockey Tournament at the Sector 42 Hockey Stadium here today.
After a barren first half, Central Industrial Security Force pumped in four goals and conceded one against Ropar Hawks. CISF opened their account through Nickey Razak who scored a field goal in the 43rd minute.
Hardly had the cheers of CISF supporters had died whey Harish Sharma struck in the 52nd minute to doubles margin for the securitymen. Maintaining their hold, CISF got their third goal through Nickey Razak who converted a penalty corner in the 59th minute. Mangra Munda slammed the fourth and final CISF goal in the 66th minute.
