Bihar: COVID 19 claims 9 lives, death toll swells to 221

Patna, July 24 ( UNI) With nine more casualties from coronavirus disease, the death toll increased to 221 in Bihar on Friday.
According to the health department sources Muzaffarpur and Rohtas reported with 2 death each while Nalanda, Gaya, Patna, Supaul and West Champaran reported 1 death each.
According to a report from Supaul, an Orthopaedic surgeon Dr Mahendra Chaudhari died at All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIMS) on Friday morning due to Covid-19. He was admitted at AIIMS on July 18 and his condition had started deteriorating from July 22.
