Bring all Hindus from B’desh, Pak: Panun Kashmir urges PM

Jammu, Aug 8 (UNI) Panun Kashmir-a body raising the voice of Kashmiri Hindus on Thursday urged the Government of India to evacuate all Hindus of Bangladesh as well as Pakistan and grant them citizenship of India immediately.
"Genocidal violence against Hindus of Bangladesh has outraged the sentiments of all Hindus," Dr Ajay Chrungoo, Chairman, Panun Kashmir, said in a statement.
He said, "Hindus of Kashmir fully understand the grave situation faced by the Hindus of Bangladesh. Having experienced genocide Hindus of Kashmir fully feel the pain, agony and humiliation of living in a genocidal Muslim order."
"The sufferings of Hindus in Bangladesh as well as Pakistan have been long and protracted one. That they persevered and withstood the genocidal attrition for such a long time without forsaking their religion and civilisation is a saga Human perseverance and courage," said Dr Chrungoo.
Panun Kashmir asks the GoI to publicly declare its commitment to ensure safety of Hindus in Bangladesh and ensure that it becomes the foremost area of importance for Indo- Bangladesh relations.
"India cannot remain a mute spectator while crimes against humanity are committed against Hindus just in our neighbourhood," he said, adding that the denial of Hindu Genocide cannot be either a tactical or strategic option for Government of India.
"The denial policy is a policy of suicide. If the Indian State cannot declare its commitment to protect Hindus from genocidal assaults within India or outside, it will lose its credibility in the community of nations. It will lose its freedom and become a domain of enslaved subject people," said the statement.
