Bengaluru, Jun 29 (UNI) The number of COVID-19 cases in Karnataka was surged to 14295 as 1105 fresh cases of COVID-19 were detected in the last 24-hour in the state.
According to official sources, the number of deaths due to the COVID-19 also rose to 226 when 16 more COVID-19 patients succumbed to the disease on Monday.
While Bengaluru Urban district, continue to register highest number of fresh cases of COVID-19 with 738 cases, followed by Ballari 76, Dakshina Kannada 32, Bidar 28, Uttara Kannada 24, Kalaburagi 23, Hassana 22, Vijayapura 22, Tumakuru 18, Udupi 18, Dharwada 17, Chikkamagaluru 17, Chikkaballapura 15, Yadagiri 9, Mandya 8, Mysuru 6, Shivamogga 5, Raichuru, Bagalakote, Gadag, Kolar 4 each, Bengaluru Rural 3, Davanagere, Ramanagara, Chitradurga 2 each, Haveri and Kodagu districts 1 each.
