Covid-19: curfew to be re-imposed in parts of Aurangabad

Aurangabad, Maharashtra, Jun 29 (UNI) After the Maharashtra government announced extension of the lockdown till July 31, district collector Uday Chaudhari on Monday declared that curfew will be re-imposed in Waluj MIDC and its surrounding seven villages between July 4 and July 12, in view of rising corona cases.
Addressing a joint press conference with city police commissioner Chiranjeev Prasad and Aurangabad civic commissioner Astilk Kumar Pandey at collector's office here after a meeting with all party MPs, MLAs and high-ranking officials in this regard, he said that if the corona cases do not come in control in city, a separate decision will be taken to impose curfew in the city limits.
Until then, under Mission Begin Again 2.0, all the shops in city will open between 0900 hours and 1700 hrs daily while the malls and supermarkets will remain closed.
