ECB appoints Trescothick as batting coach

London, Mar 1 (UNI) Former England opener Marcus Trescothick has been named batting coach of the senior men's team, the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) confirmed on Monday.
Trescothick will now step down as Somerset's assistant coach and will take up the new role by the middle of March.
On the bowling front, Jon Lewis and Jeetan Patel have been named as the teams' pace bowling and spin bowling coaches respectively.
