Eight children injured in bear attack in Lohardaga

Lohardaga, Feb 24 (UNI) Eight children's were injured in an attack by a wild bear in Pakar under the Kisko block of this district.
The children who hailed from Kocha village were returning from a marriage when they came under the attack by the bear. The injured children were taken to the hospital by the villagers from where they were sent to Sadar Hospital after being administered first aid.
Among the eight children, two including Pritam Nagesia and Ranga Nagesia sustained serious injuries. Later the forest department was alerted about the presence of the bear in the area.
