Election observers to inspect expenditures in Manipur

Imphal, Mar 29 (UNI) Election observers will inspect expenditures incurred by the candidates for the ensuing Lok Sabha elections.
Official said, registers of all the candidates for Outer Manipur would be checked on March 31, April 4 and April 8 at 1100 hrs at zilla parishad hall, Thoubal. The contesting candidates or their election agents should attend the meeting and show their expenditure registers before the observer on the specified time and date.
Meanwhile, Assistant Returning Officers (ARO) conducted training with polling officer today. Polling officers were briefed in detail of their roles, management of poll related materials, EVM and VVPATs.
