Fortunes in Kolar, Chintamani will turn in BJP's favour: Bommai

Bengaluru, Jan 30 (UNI) Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai on Monday said BJP's fortunes in Kolar and Chintamani constituencies, strongholds of Congress and JDS, will turn in its favour in the runup to the assembly elections in May.
He made this statement at an event held at BJP state headquarters to welcome Congress leaders Shekhar Reddy and Vani Krishna Reddy, who are children of late Karnataka minister KM Krishna Reddy.
"The change in the Kolar region began after the victory of S Muniswamy in the last Lok Sabha election. A major change will be evident in Kolar and Chintamani, which Congress and JDS consider these two constituencies as their bastion. There is a wave of change sweeping in this region," he told party leaders and cadres.
