Four Rohingyas arrested by UP ATS

Lucknow, Mar 28 (UNI) Four Rohingyas, including three women, were arrested by the Anti Terror Squad (ATS) of Uttar Pradesh police for crossing into India illegally on the basis of forged documents, an official spokesman said here on Thursday.
The spokesman said that on Friday information was received that four Rohingyas were going to New Delhi from Silchar in Assam by train. "Acting on the tip off the ATS deboarded four persons, including Amir Hamza, Meena Jahan, Sukura Begum and Onara Begum and were brought to the agency's headquarters," he said.
He said that when quizzed about the domicile, objective of coming to India and Indian documents the accused revealed that they were citizens of Myanmar. "The accused revealed that they came to settle in India via Bangladesh and got the forged documents prepared in India itself," they said.
