Kochi, Jul 13 (UNI) National Investigation Agency (NIA) Special Court Judge P Krishna Kumar here on Monday sent the two key accused in the sensational gold smuggling case--- Swapna Suresh and Sandeep Nair---to NIA custody till July 21.
The NIA had moved an application in the court on Sunday, seeking the duo's custody for interrogation.
However, the NIA Court waited for the COVID test results of the two before sending them to NIA custody for questioning after they had been brought to Kerala from Bengaluru.
