HP likely to become Corona-free state: DGP

Shimla, May 4(UNI) Himachal Pradesh ,which recorded 41 cases of COVID-19 in last one-and-a-half months is likely to become Coronavirus-free on Tuesday after the final testing of the only active patient of Sirmaur district.
This was stated by the Director General of State Police Mr Sitaram Mardi in an official statement on the police facebook account here on Monday.
He said that testing of only one active patient (belonged to Paonta Sahib area of Sirmaur district currently under treatment at ESI Hospital Katha in Baddi of Solan district) would be done tomorrow. If this patient tests negative, the state would become COVID-19 positive.
