Jharkhand gives 2nd language status to Magahi, Angika, Bhojpuri and Maithali

Ranchi, Mar 21 (UNI) The Jharkhand Government today decided to award the status of second state language status to four languages including Magahi, Bhojpuri, Maithali and Angika.
A decision in this regard was taken in the meeting of the state cabinet which was chaired by Chief Minister Raghubar Das at the project building here. Later briefing the press state cabinet

Tirumala: 4 killed in stampede at token issuing centre

Tirupati, Jan 8 (UNI) The issuance of tokens for devotional ‘Vaikunta Dwara Darshanam’ turned tragic as four people including three women were killed in a stampede here in Andhra Pradesh on Wednesday.
The stampede took place when the gate was opened for thousands of people, who were waiting to get a ‘Vaikunta Dwara Darshan’ ticket in the hill shrine Tirumala on the auspicious Ekadasi day on Friday.
