JK: Lt Gov Sinha visits Gandbal, expresses condolences to boat tragedy families.

Srinagar, Apr 22 (UNI) Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Monday visited the Gandbal area of Srinagar to express condolences to the families who lost their kin in a boat capsize tragedy recently.
Six people died and three others including a father-son duo remain missing after a boat carrying nearly two dozen people, including school children, from Gandbal to Batwara, capsized in the Jhelum river here on April 16. A 35-year-old woman and her two school-going twins were among the dead. The search to trace the trio feared dead is still going on.
“Met the family members of the victims who lost their lives in the heartbreaking boat tragedy on April 16 and expressed my deep condolences”, LG posted on X.
The Lieutenant Governor also assured all help and support to the bereaved families. "The administration stands shoulder to shoulder with the families", he said.
