Kerala:Four polling officials suspended

Kozhikode, Apr 20 (UNI) District Collector and Election Officer Snehil Kumar Singh on Saturday suspended four polling officials for their failure to properly check the voter identity card of a voter under the vote-from-home facility at Peruvayal.
District Collector suspended four members of a home vote processing team comprising a Special Polling Officer, Polling officer, Micro Observer, and Booth Level Officer (BLO), who failed to prevent the impersonating vote in 84 number booth of Peruvayal in Kunnamangalam constituency.
As per the report, one Janaki Amma (80) of Kodassery cast her vote in place of Janaki Amma (91) residing at Payumpuram in the same booth number
