Maha: Gutka worth lakhs seized in Sangli, 1 arrested

Sangli, Apr 17 (UNI) In a joint operation with Constant Survey (CS) team, the Rural Police on Wednesday seized gutka worth lakhs of rupees from a tempo at Mhaishal check-post on Miraj-Kagwad highway in Miraj tehsil of the district and arrested its driver in this connection.
Acting on a tip off, a police and CS team laid a trap at Mhaishal check-post this afternoon and stopped a tempo coming from neighbouring Karnataka on suspicion.
During search of the vehicle, police found bags containing gutka of various brands.
