Micromax unveils Canvas Fire 5 for Rs 6199

New Delhi, Jun 22 (UNI) Mobile handset manufacturer Micromax today launched its new Canvas Fire 5 priced at Rs 6,199. Shubhajit Sen, Chief Marketing Officer, Micromax said, "In India, with the fast growing internet penetration and access to affordable big screen smartphones, digital music consumption is witnessing a steep rise. About 80 per cent of the consumers watch videos on their mobile devices at least once every two-three days, with more than half opting to watch them daily. With youth spending a fifth of their digital media time on audio and video entertainment it is clear that consumers today are seeking sound and music functionality from their smartphones.' The smartphone comes with six month free access to premium Gaana+ services that allow users to access unlimited song downloads,said the statement. The new handset features with Dual front audio speakers and Auro 3D - Android Marshmallow - 1.3 GHz Quad Core MediaTek Processor - 1GB DDR3+16GB (expandable upto 64GB) - Rear Camera 8.0MP; Front Camera 5.0MP - 5.5 inch HD IPS display - and Gravity calling - Wi-Fi, dual SIM , Bluetooth 4.0 along with the 2500mAh Battery,the company added. The new Canvas is specifically designed for such audience to make it easy for them to store, carry and listen to good quality music anytime and anywhere at a wallet friendly price,"added Mr Sen. Flaunting its dual front firing speakers and Auro 3D Sound technology, the handset offers an excellent surround sound experience for music aficionados and delivers clear, room-filling deep sound. Auro-3D is a next generation audio format that delivers a full three-dimensional sound spread capable of reproducing natural acoustic space.
