Arunachal Guv extends Bihu, Sangken greetings to people

Itanagar, Apr 13 (UNI) Arunachal Pradesh Governor Lt General (Retd) KT Parnaik on Saturday extended warm greetings and best wishes to the people of the state as well as neighbouring Assam on the festive occasion of Bohag Bihu, also called Rongali Bihu, which heralds the Assamese New Year and harvest season in Assam.
He expressed hope that the joyous occasion will herald a new era of harmonious relations and prosperity.
In his message, the Governor said that the Bohag Bihu ushers in the period of enjoyment and marks the arrival of spring, the agricultural season.
