Arunachal Guv greets people on Moh Mol, Gumkum Gumpa fests

Itanagar, Apr 24 (UNI) Arunachal Pradesh Governor Lt General (Retd) KT Parnaik has conveyed his warm greetings to the people of the state, particularly the Tangsa community on the eve of Moh Mol festival.
He expressed hope that the festival of the Tangsa community of Changlang district will usher in peace, communal harmony and prosperity for all.
The Governor said that Moh-Mol is basically an agriculture related festival, which signifies the end of an agricultural activity or beginning of crop season. Since time immemorial, the Tangsa community has faithfully upheld these ancient traditions, celebrating this festival with immense joy and customary fervour.
