Spearhead the movement to protect indigenous faith, cultures: Arunachal Dy CM

Itanagar, Aug 29 (UNI) Arunachal Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein called upon the Indigenous Faith and Cultural Society of Arunachal Pradesh (IFCSAP) – the umbrella body of all the indigenous faith bodies in the state – to spearhead the movement to protect, promote and preserve the indigenous faith, cultures, and languages in the midst of onslaught of modernization and globalization.
He also called for enhanced collaboration among all the community-based indigenous faith organizations to ensure that the cultural heritage of all communities is celebrated and preserved for future generations.
The Deputy CM was interacting with the newly-inducted IFCSAP central executive committee members, led by its president Dr Emi Rumi, who called on him at his official residence here on Thursday to discuss ongoing efforts to protect, promote and preserve the indigenous faith and cultures across the state.
