Govt. to recommend for green field Airport in Begusarai

Patna, Mar 10 (UNI) The Bihar government announced the establishing of a Greenfield Airport in Begusarai district.
Replying on behalf of the government to the call attention of MLA Kundan Kumar during pre-lunch sitting in the state assembly on Tuesday, Parliamentary Affairs Minister and Water Resources Minister Vijay Kumar Choudhary said that the state government would write to the centre to keep in mind the possibility and viability of establishing Green Field Airport in Begusarai while deciding on the issue.
He said that the union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman while presenting the union budget had announced to establish Green Field Airports in Bihar. He said that the Chief Secretary has written to the centre about the possibilities and rationalities of such Airports at different places in the state.
