Prez, PM, Odisha Guv & CM greet people on Utkal Divas

Bhubaneswar, Apr 1 (UNI ) President Droupadi Murmu, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik have extended their warm wishes and greetings to the people of Odisha on Utkal Divas.
Taking to X handle, President Droupadi Murmu said, “Warm greetings to people on Odisha Day!"
Odisha, Murmu said, is known for its vast natural wealth and rich cultural heritage.
The resilient people of this state have made great contribution in the development of Odisha and the country, the President added.
“Odisha has produced many icons over the centuries, including several makers of modern India. May Lord Jagannath bless the state and its people with greater success and prosperity," Murmu said.
Prime Minister Modi on X said, "Wishing everyone a very happy Utkala Dibasa."
“This day reminds us of the rich culture and heritage of Odisha and its dynamic people. The state has made a rich contribution to national progress," the Prime Minister said and prayed for the success and prosperity of the people of Odisha.
Odisha Governor Raghubar Das taking to X handle said, “My greetings to the people of Odisha, the sacred land of Jagannath Mahaprabhu, nestled in the lap of natural resources and beauty, cherished cultural heritage, the land of heroes, on its foundation day."
He said, “I call upon all to be committed to transforming Odisha into a prosperous and developed Odisha."
Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on X handle on the Utkal Divas said, “In keeping with this era of transformation, the idea of creating a 'developed Odisha' is the idea of Odia."
“On this 'Odisha Day' let us strengthen our Asmita and Swaviman and move forward towards building 'Developed Odisha',” Patnaik said.
Odisha celebrated the day as Utkala Divas with pomp and joy to commemorate the formation of modern Odisha on April 1, 1936.
