MP: 6 killed in bus-truck collision

Maihar, Sep 29 (UNI) At least six people were killed and 17 others injured in a collision between a bus and a truck in the Maihar district of Madhya Pradesh, police said.
According to police sources, the accident took place Saturday night in the rural police station area near Maihar. The bus going at a high speed collided with a roadside dumper horrifically.
Police and administration officials said condition of six people was stated to be critical and they were referred to Satna for further treatment. The number of wounded is currently said to be 17.
The bus driver is also among the injured.
A senior police officer informed the media that the bus was headed from Prayagraj to Nagpur. The deceased are being identified. It was unclear till late night how many passengers were on the bus. It is believed that there could be about 25 passengers in it.
