UP:Girls outshine boys in UP Board High School Exam

Lucknow, Apr 20 (UNI) Girls have once again outshined boys in the High School Examinations conducted by the Uttar Pradesh Board of Secondary Education, considered to be one of the biggest boards in Asia in terms of students.
In the high school exam, Prachi Nigam of Sitapur topped by securing 98.50 percent marks, and Shubham Verma of Sitapur stood first with 97.80 percent marks in intermediate (class 12th). Both are students of Sitabal VMIC Mahmudabad.
The percentage of candidates passing the high school examination of the board was 89.55 percent whereas in the intermediate examination, 82.60 percent of candidates were declared successful.
