Rahul Gandhi no match for PM Modi: Amit Shah

Rahul Gandhi no match for PM Modi: Amit Shah

Bengaluru, April 2 (UNI) Contrasting Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership with that of Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, criticising the latter's absence during crucial times, Union Home Minister and senior BJP leader Amit Shah on Tuesday portrayed INDIA Alliance as a coalition of dynasts and corrupt individuals.
"In the ensuing general elections, the NDA and BJP, on the one side, are under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, while on the flip side, there is this alliance of 'pariwarwadis' (dynasts) and 'brashtacharis' (corrupt) - the INDIA Alliance," he said addressing party workers here.
Shah expressed optimism about winning all 28 Lok Sabha seats in Karnataka and accused the Congress of rampant corruption during its rule.
He emphasised PM Modi's integrity and claimed that under his leadership, the BJP has set an example of transparency.
"There is a clear option before the people. There is Narendra Modi who governed for 23 years without even a paise of corruption. In contrast, Congress was involved in scams of Rs 12 lakh crore. These people, whenever they get power, not only indulge in corruption, their mind is never focused on serving people," Shah alleged.
The Home Minister also criticized Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar over corruption allegations.
He contrasted this with Modi's record of governance without any corruption allegations.
Shah also highlighted Modi's dedication by mentioning his work ethic of not taking any leave during his tenure as Chief Minister and Prime Minister.
"The PM always worked for Bharat. He did not take a single day leave. While Rahul 'baba' on the other hand, goes abroad as the summer sets in. Every six months, the Congress keeps searching for him. There is no match. The whole country is unitedly standing with Narendra Modi," he asserted.
The event was attended by several prominent BJP leaders, including BS Yediyurappa, Pralhad Joshi, and R Ashoka, among others.
