Noted philanthropist, Padma Shri D Prakash Rao passes away

Cuttack, Jan 13 (UNI) Noted social activist, philanthropist and a popular tea seller of this town Padma Shri D Prakash Rao passed away today. He was 63.
Family sources said Mr Rao was admitted to the SCB Medical College and hospital on December 25 last after he was tested covid positive. He was also being treated for kidney-related ailments and shifted to the ICU after his condition turned critical.

Aizawl, Mar 9 (UNI) A Belgian journalist arrested at Lengpui Airport near Aizawl on Thursday remains in judicial custody after being charged under the Foreigners Act, 1946, and the Arms Act, 1959, for possession of two empty cartridges, including one from an AK-47 assault rifle, police said on Sunday.
