Notices issued to 3 Independent MLAs for defying anti-defection law

Shimla, Apr 26 (UNI) The political drama in Himachal Pradesh took a decisive turn on Friday when Assembly Speaker Kuldeep Singh Pathania issued notices to three Independent MLAs for allegedly defying anti-defection law by joining BJP recently.
MLAs Hoshiar Singh, K L Thakur and Ashish Sharma were issued separate notices on the complaint filed against them by Congress members of assembly and Revenue Minister Jagat Singh Negi on Thursday.
Minister Negi has urged the Speaker to wield the anti-defection law against the trio, as they switched over to the opposition BJP without waiting for acceptance of their resignation.
