Peaceful polling underway in Chhattisgarh

Raipur, April 26 (UNI) Polling is underway for the second phase of Lok Sabha elections in Chhattisgarh. Till 1 pm, 53.09 percent of votes have been recorded in three seats.
In the second phase, 41 candidates, including Congress-BJP veterans, are in the fray. The fate of these candidates will be decided by 52,84,938 voters.
Significantly, Konguda, a Naxal-affected village in Keshkal of Kondagaon in Kanker Lok Sabha, is considered highly sensitive. There was 60.15 percent voting here, and there is a lot of enthusiasm among the villagers about voting. Villagers are leaving all work and standing in line for hours to vote.
Similarly, Mahasamund Lok Sabha recorded 52.06 percent and Rajnandgaon Lok Sabha recorded 47.82 percent. Former Congress Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel is the candidate from here.
