People have totally rejected INDI alliance in 1st phase: PM Modi

Nanded (Maharashtra), April 20 (UNI) Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday said that the INDI alliance have come together to save and protect their own corrupt people and so the voters have completely rejected them in the very first phase and first day of polling for the Lok Sabha elections.
Ahead of the second phase on April 26 when eight parliamentary seats from Maharashtra will vote, PM Modi addressing an election campaign meeting in Nanded of Marathwada region, exuded confidence of winning maximum seats.
Amid overwhelming support by the people and workers of BJP-NDA, he bowed down in prayer seeking blessings of Guru Gobind Singh Ji, Nanaji Deshmukh, and Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar among others.
Speaking about the just completed first phase of voting, Modi said, “We have the popular support of the First-time voters with us.” He added, “INDI alliance have come together to save and protect themselves from corruption charges and the people have thoroughly rejected them in the 1st phase of polling.”
He added that the Congress Shehzada (Rahul Gandhi) now has no choice but to contest from Wayanad, but like he deserted Amethi voters and ran away, he may also run away from Wayanad (Kerala). He said that the country is voting for BJP-NDA for a ‘Viksit Bharat’.
Lambasting the Congress for stalling development of the people, he said, “Congress is the wall between the development of Dalits, Poor and deprived.”
He said: "Even today the Congress opposes any developmental work that our government intends to carry out." He said that one can never expect them to resolve any issues and people cannot expect robust developmental prospects from them.
Highlighting the dire state and fragile conditions of Marathwada and Vidarbha, Modi said, “For decades, Congress stalled the development of Vidarbha and Marathwada.” He said “It is the policies of the Congress that both Marathwada and Vidarbha are water-deficient, its farmers are poor and there are no prospects for industrial growth.”
He said: "Our government has enabled 'Nal se Jal' to 80 percent of households in Nanded. Our constant endeavour has been to facilitate the empowerment of our farmers through record rise in MSPs, income support through PM-KISAN, and the promotion of ‘Sree Anna’."
Highlighting the infra impetus in Nanded in the last decade, he said, “For every wound inflicted by Congress, there is Modi's guarantee of a cure.”
He said: “The ‘Shaktipeeth highway’ and ‘Latur Rail Coach Factory’ is our commitment to a robust infra. We aim to develope the Marathwada region in the next 5 years."
Modi said: "We all must strive to ensure that India becomes a ‘Viksit Bharat’, and for that, it is the need of the hour to vote for the BJP-NDA."
He thanked the people of Nanded for their overwhelming support and expressed confidence in a Modi 3.0.
