Police ask Reliance gas pipeline project-affected farmers not to part with their compensation

Palghar, Jun 30 (UNI) The Rural Police on Tuesday asked the farmers of the district, who received compensation for their lands acquired by Reliance for its gas pipeline, to be cautious and desist from entertaining anti-social elements who allegedly want to snatch away their money.

In an official release, police said that the Reliance company has acquired agricultural lands belonging to the farmers of Talasari, Vikramgad, Dahanu and Wada for the ethane gas pipeline.
