Police cases against DKS, Vijayendra, HDK for violating code of conduct

Bengaluru, Apr 20 (UNI) As the Lok Sabha elections in Karnataka approach, the political scene in the state has intensified with the registration of police cases against prominent leaders from various parties for alleged violations of the Model Code of Conduct (MCC).
A police case has been registered against Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar, a Congress leader, for allegedly violating the MCC during his campaign for the upcoming elections.
The case is related to a video where Shivakumar purportedly promised Bengaluru voters a supply of water from the Cauvery river if they voted for his brother, DK Suresh, who is contesting from Bangalore Rural.
