New Delhi, Jul 29 (UNI) Lack of quorum today led to the Rajya Sabha being adjourned without taking up a Private Member's bill on speedier development of India's infrastructure. Raising the issue for accelerated development of the country, particularly of the transport sector, Congress Member T Subbarami Reddy, who had already launched into his resolution, when he noticed the absence of the minister concerned. Demanding that the minister concerned be present to hear and reply to his resolution, he asked 'Then what is the point of talking on it ? ' He drew the Chair's attention to the clock and the lack of quorum needed to continue with the debate. Mr Tiruchi Siva, who was presiding, sought to gauge the sense of the House, and then adjourned the House asking the Congress Member to raise the issue in the next Private Member's business scheduled.
