Patna, June 4 (UNI) Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Tejaswi Prasad Yadav on Sunday alleged that the safety priority of the government in Railways stood exposed after the major train accident in Odisha.
Yadav told media persons here that the Narendra Modi government had been claiming for long that a number of safety measures were taken to avert train accidents. The devastating train accident in Odisha exposed hollow claims of the government on safety measures taken in Railways, he said.
The Deputy Chief Minister said that strict action should be taken against those found guilty of dereliction of their duties which led to the accident. It was a heart-wrenching scene on accident spot where children, adults and old persons were found dead and their bodies scattered around, he said.
