Septuagenarian imprisoned in rape case

Patna, Nov 29 (UNI) The special POCSO court awarded seven-year imprisonment to a 72-year-old accused in connection with a rape case here on Tuesday.
After hearing the case the special judge Vinay Prakash Tiwari sentenced imprisonment and Rs 10000 fine to one Mohammed Shamim alias Aslam of Phulwari Sharif police station area.
The court directed the accused to pay the fine to the victim. The court also asked the district judicial services authority to pay a compensation of Rs 400000 to the victim.
