Bratislava Nov 6 (SPUTNIK/UNI) Slovakia is proposing the creation of a fund in the European union to compensate European farmers for damages from agricultural imports from Ukraine, Slovak Agriculture Minister Richard Takac said. "I am proposing, and I am working on this with my colleagues, the creation of a special fund for countries bordering Ukraine, whose farmers would receive compensation in the event of a threat caused by the import of these goods. This is a problem, but it is a problem primarily for countries bordering Ukraine," Takac said at a press conference yesterday.
